What’s a CSA?
Our Prairie Harvest Community Supported Agriculture program joins subscribers in sharing the risk and bounty of the growing season by purchasing a share in The Wallace Centers of Iowa’s organic fruit and vegetable production.
Why should I join?
For a $450 fee, you’ll receive:
• 20 weeks of fresh fruits & vegetables

What do I get in my box?
A wide variety of produce over the 20 week period—lots of leafy greens in the spring; produce such as garlic, green beans, and zucchini in the summer; apples, winter squash and potatoes in the fall.
Sample Boxes
June: Garlic scapes, head lettuce, mesculin mix, oregano, green onions, radishes, rhubarb, spinach.
August: Basil, beets, cabbage, chilies, cucumbers, tomatoes, leeks, okra, onions, peppers, summer squash, zucchini.
October: Beets, eggplant, chilies, garlic, kale, potatoes, radishes, sweet peppers, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, winter squash, lettuce, turnips.
How do I get my box?
Boxes are delivered on Wednesday afternoons to
the James Law Office in Creston,
the Wallace House in Des Moines,
Harmony Yoga Studio in Des Moines,
the Weiland home in Greenfield,
Pioneer's Carver Center in Johnston,
at Clearview Estates in Mount Ayr,
at Joseph's Jewelers West Glenn store in West Des Moines, and
the Applehurst store in Winterset.
A registration form is available on the home page beginning in January and remaining until all subscriptions are filled.
